For every study program at Wageningen University a so called ‘Program Committee’ has been set up. For the Bachelor Environmental Sciences, as well as for both Masters (Environmental Sciences and Urban and Environmental Management) one Program Committee is active.
The main responsibility of these committees is to design and develop the programmes and to give advice to the Educational Institute (OWI). The OWI advices the Executive Board on educational matters. Everything that has to do with education in general and the three programs in particular are of interest.
The committee meets once a period to discuss the new agenda. The meetings are public which means that visitors are welcome. During these meetings programme related issues are discussed, such as student recruitment, the improvement of courses, and the "Towards Flexibility" programme.
