Board goals 2010:

More involved association

1. Make the association more united with the wishes of her members and get the members more involved. To attain this we will issue a survey and ask our members what kind of activities they would like to join.
2. More involvement of master students. To reach this we could offer them more activities that are both study related and fun, on a day that suits them best (maybe the weekend). We will also organise a first year masters dinner. To improve communication with masters, see ‘Better communication with the members’.
3. Offer an Aktief Slip item again before June (mug and long sleeve). 
4. Improve timely promotion of activities and keeping the members informed.

Better communication with the members

1. Keep on improving the website, keep it more up-to-date.
2. Hand out information flyers with activities for 1^st year BSc-students and MSc-students, during the AID.
3. Send information email weekly and improve where necessary.
4. Make use of Facebook (especially for masters) and/or Hyves. There we can post a short message: ‘this event is coming up, for more information: see our website’.
5. More personal communication, for example during the 3D, visit classes to promote activities. We want to send master students personal invitations for events particularly interesting for masters.

Improvement and promotion of environmental studies

1. Improve and evaluate system for master tutors together with the education team.
2. Keep contact with and help the promocie with creating and working out their ideas.
3. Organise a yearly alumni-evening like 2^nd of March 2010, in collaboration with SKM and Education Team.
4. Add information to the website about studying environmental sciences in Wageningen (for prospect students) and especially being member of Aktief Slip. Also make some kind of public forum for high school students to ask ‘real students’ questions. Further we can mention Tanya, the ‘studiekeuzecoach’ (coach for choosing a study).

Better internal communication

1. Keep on updating the task descriptions per function and for the entire board.
2. Update the charter/regulations.
3. Keep administration in the office and on the computer structured.

Better external communication

1. Start up a symposium committee and company day committee, together with the other environmental sciences.
2. Look at the possibilities for a café in Orion, for and by students, and possibly start up a committee to run the pub.
3. Keep good contact with Milieuprisma and improve contact with Storm (study associations for Environmental Sciences in Nijmegen and Utrecht respectively). 
4. Organise a career event in collaboration with KLV and Ecojob.
