The Akcie is the activities committee of Aktief Slip. Studying in Wageningen should not only be serious, fun is also an important part of a student’s life. And that’s where the Akcie comes in! Every period the members of the Akcie have several lunch meetings, in which they discuss activities that would be nice for members of Aktief Slip. Some activities that took place in the last couple of years are:

• Quiz evenings 
• lasergames
• Bowling
• dinners
• environmental weekend
• canoeing trip
• movie evenings
• BBQ
• symposia
• student-teacher lunch

Besides having a lot of fun, you can meet students in environmental sciences from other study years at these activities. These contacts can be nice to borrow books or discuss choices you have to make for your study.

Apart from activities especially organised for Aktief Slip members, the Akcie also organises big parties in cooperation with other study associations. These parties usually take place at one of the students’ associations.

To be able to organise more exciting activities, all help is welcome! Also if you have an idea for an activity, all you need to do is let us know!
